Matt Barrows is reporting that the San Francisco 49ers are one of the teams showing interest in Denver free-agent wide receiver Eddie Royal.

Royal has already visited with the Washington Redskins and will fly to San Diego this week to meet with the Chargers. Should he walk away without a deal, he could head to the Bay Area for a visit.

Royal, who is 25, has had 206 catches for 2,107 yards and 9 touchdowns over his career. He was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft out of Virginia Tech.

Out for this matchup are Richard Sherman, Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, Jimmy Garoppolo, Raheem Mostert, Tevin Coleman, Jeff Wilson Jr, K'Waun Williams, and Jaquiski Tartt. This is on top of all the players missing for awhile now like Dee Ford, Nick Bosa, Ronald Blair, Ben Garland, Weston Richburg, and Solomon
