Peter King: A healthy 49ers team would be the best in the NFC West, could be the best next year

By David Bonilla

The San Francisco 49ers are far from the best team within the NFC West. At 4-6, they sit at the bottom of the division, looking up at the slugfest for first place between the Los Angeles Rams and the Seattle Seahawks. The Arizona Cardinals are in a close second-place spot. Of course, injuries have been a significant part of the 49ers' storyline this season. "That's the way the Niners gotta look at that game coming up." Rice believes the bye week may do the 49ers some good, allowing head coach Kyle Shanahan to work on certain tendencies and techniques to improve at several position

By David Bonilla
Nov 25, 2020

Today, the San Francisco 49ers activated defensive lineman Arik Armstead and center Hroniss Grasu off the reserve/COVID-19 list. Still, seven players remain on the list, putting their statuses for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams in jeopardy. Kyle Shanahan informed reporters before today's practice that he doesn't expect Sunday's game to be postponed, as was the case for the Thanksgiving matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers. The 49ers head coach feels his team has the situation under control but notes that had they played a game this past weekend, he may have felt differently. "We've been good in our building for a number of
