49ers rookie Drake Jackson ready to 'get the answers to the test' from Nick Bosa
Drake Jackson knows he's going into a great situation. Two weeks ago, the 21-year-old rookie defensive end was the first selection by the San Francisco 49ers, added during the second round. Eventually, the 49ers expect him to fill the role once envisioned for Dee Ford—a strong pass rusher opposite phenom Nick Bosa.
Jackson could develop into that complementary piece for the 49ers defense. Luckily, he has a great role model in Bosa.
"Watching him, the whole D-line, watching them hunt, I cannot wait to go get out there with those guys and just turn up with them," Jackson told reporters on Friday.

Rapoport on the Deebo Samuel, 49ers situation: 'I think they can get it settled'
On Monday, NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported that San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel would not attend the team's organized team activities, which start today. The wideout showing up would have gone a long way in the team's efforts to mend its relationship with the do-it-all star player, even if Samuel didn't participate in on-field activities. At least, that is what Rapoport expressed during a Monday interview on The Pat McAfee Show.

The San Francisco 49ers begin their rookie minicamp on Friday afternoon, giving fans and media their first look at the nine rookies the team drafted, as well as the undrafted free agents the team signed or invited to camp.
One player that likely will not participate in team drills is sixth-round defensive tackle Kalia Davis, who is recovering from a torn ACL he suffered last fall, which likely played a role in his falling draft stock.
