Today, the San Francisco 49ers will host their first playoff game since 2002 and it will be against the high powered New Orleans Saints.

The 49ers won their season finale 34-27 against the St. Louis Rams, earning a first round bye week in the playoffs. The Saints are coming off of a 45-28 Wildcard round victory over the Detroit Lions.

The game kicks off at 1:30 PM and, as usual, you can visit 49erswebzone.com for the latest news and updates during and after the game.

The game will be televised on FOX.

A few more games like the Week 14 nail-biter last season could change that. Whoever is running the 49ers' social media account might want to ignite something, judging by an impressively clever tweet on Thursday. The post was meant to remind fans to wear masks during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, which threatens the 2020 NFL season and sports in general. 49ers insider discusses the possibility of George Kittle holding out for a new contract
