Crabtree to come off PUP soon?

Both Matt Maiocco (@MaioccoCSN) of CSN Bay Area and Matt Barrows (@mattbarrows) of the Sacramento Bee are reporting that San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree has been seen walking around the practice field without his orthopedic boot. It is the first time since camp began that Crabtree has been seen without it.

Crabtree, along with newly acquired receiver Braylon Edwards, are currently slated to be the 49ers' starting receivers this season.

The 2020 season was a strange one. For the San Francisco 49ers, it was filled with injuries, and the team suffered setbacks due to the COVID-19 pandemic. That includes members of the team being kicked out of their homes for over a month and moving to Arizona after Santa Clara County restrictions banned contact sports. Linebacker Fred Warner feels that this past season's adversity made him and his teammates stronger and believes the 49ers will bounce back better for it in 2021. 49ers activate Tom Compton off injured reserve, sign punter, announce other roster moves

The San Francisco 49ers announced the following roster moves ahead of the team's Week 17 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. The 49ers have signed P Drew Kaser to the practice squad. OL Tom Compton has been activated off injured reserve. The 49ers opened his practice window this week.
