Matt Barrows (@mattbarrows) of the Sacramento Bee is reporting that Michael Crabtree could miss the preseason with a foot injury.

This would be Michael Crabtree's third straight missed preseason.

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan spoke with reporters via a conference call on Monday, the day after his team's 11-10 loss to the Denver Broncos. He provided injury updates from the game. The San Francisco 49ers defense has been outstanding through three games this season. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the offense. The Niners currently own the No. 2 ranked defense in the league. The offense, on the other hand, sits at No. 24. The San Francisco 49ers defense appears to be in mid-season form. The same cannot be said about the 49ers offense, though. The unit has struggled, and the team owns a record of 1-2.
