San Francisco 49ers training camp begins Thursday

According to NFL Network, the San Francisco 49ers' 2011 training camp will begin on Thursday, July 28.

The NFL players are expected to make an announcement today that the new CBA settlement has been agreed to which would put an end to the lockout that started on March 11. They are currently assembled in Washington D.C.

Teams will be able to start signing drafted and undrafted players on Tuesday, July 26 at 7am Pacific.

Free agency will begin Friday, July 29 at 3pm Pacific.

49ers begin acclimation period of training camp

The San Francisco 49ers have already reduced their roster to 80 players ahead of the August 16 deadline and today begin an acclimation period of training camp that will run through August 11. Matt Barrows of The Athletic broke down what to expect in the coming days, as the team eases its way back to football amid a pandemic. Each of the first four days will include 60-minute walkthroughs.
