49ers open new Santa Clara stadium website

Jun 9, 2010 at 10:10 AM--

After Measure J was announced as a success late last night, the San Francisco 49ers were quick to unveil their new stadium website at 49ersnewstadium.com.

Phil Barber of the Press Democrat says the following in his blog entry this morning:

They had a billboard printed up, all ready to be set in place at the site of the proposed 68,500-seat stadium off of Tasman Drive and bathed in light in the wee hours of election night. And they had a web site designed, one click away from reality as the votes were tallied.

The team already has a waiting list set up on the website for fans willing to put down money right now for seats. Season ticket holders, of course, will have priority.

Outside of ticket information, the new stadium website features stadium information, images, an FAQ, and more.

Two weeks into the NFL season, fans can finally look forward to the San Francisco 49ers' home opener under the national spotlight. What's on the menu this year? I had the chance to preview some of the upcoming bites at the Levi's Stadium Concessions Showcase. I checked out Levi's Stadium food selection along with a couple of new local vendors for the upcoming season. We were introduced to Levi's Stadium and Levy Restaurants' new Executive Chef, Alvin Kabiling, who takes the reign after working with former executive chef Jon Severson for the last several years. Kabiling recognizes that many local fans are "foodies"

This won't surprise anyone who has watched a contest between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams in recent years, but there will likely be a lot of red inside SoFi Stadium on Sunday. According to projections from ticket reseller Vivid Seats, 64 percent of the crowd at the Rams' home venue is expected to be 49ers fans, creating a favorable road environment for the visiting team. "Sunday's game currently ranks as one of the hottest NFL tickets for Week 2, coming in 3rd," a representative with Vivid Seats told 49ers Webzone. Only the New York Jets at Dallas Cowboys and the Minnesota Vikings at Philadelphia Eagles games ranked higher in Week 2. On Wednesday, defensive end Nick

Kyle Shanahan reveals how 49ers will plan for new-look Rams

By Rohan Chakravarthi
Sep 13

The San Francisco 49ers had a dominant Week 1 performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers, kicking off the 2023 NFL season with a 30-7 win, picking up right where they left off with quarterback Brock Purdy healthy again following a torn UCL that ended his season in the NFC Championship Game last year. The 49ers were dominant to begin, shutting out the Pittsburgh Steelers on their first five drives with three-and-outs, while scoring on each of their first four opportunities, creating a quick 20-0 lead in the second quarter. However, the 49ers weren't the only team in the division to start strong, as the Los Angeles Rams easily defeated the Seattle Seahawks 30-13, riding the wave of quarterback Matthew Stafford, who, like Purdy, is back healthy for the 2023

Anthony Brown eager to help new 49ers teammates beat Giants

By David Bonilla
Sep 20

The San Francisco 49ers signed Anthony Brown this week, and the cornerback is ready to help his new teammates defeat the New York Giants. However, that help may not come from Brown taking the field on Thursday night. Brown spent his first seven NFL seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, so he is familiar with the Niners' upcoming opponent, having played in the NFC East for many years. Brown was a starter for Dallas until suffering a torn Achilles in December. "Just getting here, so I'm just trying to basically tell the guys as much as I can, and if they have any questions on little tips and little pointers," Brown told Larry Krueger this week. "The Giants pretty much show up every week in their game plan, and trying to help the corners and DBs as much as I
