Patrick Willis against signing quarterback Carr

Mar 5, 2010 at 7:55 PM--

Apparently, San Francisco 49ers star linebacker Patrick Willis is not in favor of the team signing quarterback David Carr of the Giants.

On his official Twitter account (Twitter Verified), he made the following tweets about Carr's potential signing.

for real for what. we have 3 qb's that are better then him. That's a waste of his time

I'm saying if we going to go get another qb. spend money on a difference maker. Like vick. my opinion. And well u got urs

I'm always classy. We have opinions. U have urs and I have mine. I would rather stick with my qb's now then sign carr.

ya my same thoughts..we need impact players not duds.

Super Bowl 58 showcased that the San Francisco 49ers' roster has room for improvement despite possessing one of the most talent-rich units in the NFL. The right side of the offensive line could use some reinforcement. The cornerback position opposite Charvarius Ward might need addressing. Additionally, the 49ers' run defense struggled during the postseason. However, the offseason focus should center on wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, the latest star player due for a contract extension. With the team exercising its fifth-year option on the wideout, Aiyuk is signed through the upcoming season. Now, the question remains whether both sides can reach an agreement. While the 49ers have been fortunate in previous years, signing their star players to contract extensions

Fred Warner and Dre Greenlaw are arguably the best linebacker duo in the NFL, serving as the heart of the San Francisco 49ers defense while sharing a strong bond. By David Bonilla
Feb 15

Klint Kubiak is among several assistant coaches departing the San Francisco 49ers for opportunities elsewhere. He will serve as the New Orleans Saints' offensive coordinator after his stint as the 49ers' offensive passing game specialist. Kubiak only spent one season with the 49ers. Of course, it's unsurprising to see the considerable interest in head coach Kyle Shanahan's coaching staff, given the success many of his proteges have found across the league. Upon his departure, Kubiak had nothing but praise for his time working under Shanahan. "Just being here a year, my experience is, Kyle really lets you into his brain in his game plan meetings," Kubiak
