Nearly all NFL teams were represented at Arizona's pro day, with only three teams choosing to skip the event. The San Francisco 49ers were among those in attendance to scout the draft prospects, including potential first-round pick, tackle Jordan Morgan. The Niners currently hold 10 selections in the upcoming draft, with their first pick at No. 31 overall.

Of note, it wasn't just any 49ers scout present at Arizona's pro day. NFL Draft Diamonds reports that it was the team's director of college scouting. Tariq Ahmad held that position before recently being promoted, along with R.J. Gillen, to co-directors of player personnel. It's assumed that NFL Draft Diamonds meant one of these two individuals.

Arizona's pro day also showcased wide receiver Jacob Cowing, tight end Tanner McLachlan, defensive lineman Taylor Upshaw, and running back Michael Wiley.

As for Morgan, the offensive lineman also participated in the NFL Scouting Combine, where the 6'5", 311-pound player posted a 40-yard dash time of 5.04 seconds, a vertical jump of 28 inches, and a broad jump of nine feet, 2 inches.

According to Pro Football Focus, Morgan allowed 14 pressures and two sacks in his 477 pass-blocking snaps at left tackle in 2023. He earned an impressive pass-blocking grade of 87.3 and an overall grade of 83.5.

"Morgan is an ideal scheme fit for San Francisco," wrote Dane Brugler of The Athletic in a recent mock draft that had the Wildcat headed to Santa Clara. "But he also makes timeline sense, because he offers versatility on the line despite having only played left tackle in college. Morgan can help fill in at guard or right tackle right away and potentially be the long-term plan on the left side whenever Trent Williams decides to hang 'em up."

The 2024 NFL Draft will take place in Detroit, Michigan, from Thursday, April 25, through Saturday, April 27.
