49ers-Vikings: How to watch, stream, and listen to the second preseason matchup

The San Francisco 49ers make their first preseason road trip as they take on the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium. This matchup marks the tenth time the two clubs have met in the preseason and the first meeting since 2017. The 49ers lead the all-time preseason series 5-4. Ahead of the second preseason game of 2022, the teams will hold a pair of joint practices at the TCO Performance Center in Eagan, MN.

The 49ers are coming off a 28-21 win against the Green Bay Packers at Levi's Stadium. QB Trey Lance completed four of his five pass attempts for 92 yards, including a 76-yard touchdown pass to WR Danny Gray. QB Nate Sudfeld completed eight passes for 108 yards and a touchdown pass to WR Ray-Ray McCloud III. QB Brock Purdy completed three passes for 36 yards, including the go-ahead touchdown pass to TE Tanner Hudson.

Defensively, the Niners intercepted Packers QB Jordan Love three times for a combined total of 107 interception return yards. Rookie LB Marcelino McCrary-Ball got his first preseason interception off a tipped pass and fellow rookie DB Samuel Womack III grabbed his first two interceptions on back-to-back possessions.

The San Francisco 49ers are hosting several draft prospects this week as the deadline for pre-draft visits draws near. According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2, the team will host former Western Kentucky wide receiver Malachi Corley on Wednesday. Corley is expected to be a Day 2 pick. San Francisco owns two selections on Day 2—the No. 63 overall pick in the second round and the No. 94 overall pick in the third round. Currently, the receiver is visiting with the Seattle Seahawks. Brandon Aiyuk must really need that new contract. The San Francisco 49ers wide receiver took on an offseason job as an Applebee's employee while awaiting news about his NFL future. Well, not exactly. It was actually part of the series "Undercover Athlete" from Whistle, promoting the new "Whole Lotta Bacon Burger."
