On Wednesday, we learned the jersey numbers of the San Francisco 49ers' offseason free-agent acquisitions. The jersey numbers for 49ers rookies have been trickling in over the last 24 hours, since first-year players reported to Santa Clara yesterday. The team's three-day rookie minicamp kicks off this afternoon, and the list of rookie jersey numbers has been revealed to reporters.
Jersey numbers for 49ers' rookie minicamp: QB Brock Purdy 14 RB Ty Davis-Price 32 CB Tariq Castro-Fields 36 DB Qwuantrezz Knight 43 LB Jeremiah Gemmel 47 OL Dohnovan West 61 OL Nick Zakelj 63 OL Spencer Burford 74 WR Danny Gray 86 DT Kalia Davis 93 DL Drake Jackson 95
The three-day minicamp doesn't just include the drafted players. It will also include several signed and unsigned undrafted free agents, with the latter hoping to impress coaches enough to earn a contract.
The rookies will join their new veteran teammates on the practice field when organized team activities kick off on May 23. These offseason program activities so far have been voluntary. The 49ers' only mandatory minicamp will be from June 13-15. That will be the final gathering before training camp at the end of July.
