Jeremiah on why the 49ers have continued success in the NFL Draft

The San Francisco 49ers have been one of the league's best drafting teams over the Lynch-Shanahan era, having selected the likes of
Nick Bosa,
Deebo Samuel,
Fred Warner, and
George Kittle, all of whom have had elaborate success in the NFL.
Why has that been the case? NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah, who held a pre-draft conference call, gave insight into his belief about the organization and where the success comes from, starting with general manager John Lynch.
"I think John Lynch has done a phenomenal job and they've got a great staff there," Jeremiah said. "Adam Peters is someone I respect as much or more than anybody else in this league. I've known him -- we kind of started similar time scouting and he's worked his way up and he's been around a lot of championship teams. He's a stud. They've got a bunch of other guys like that, as well, so they've got a great staff."
Peters, who, alongside Ran Carthon, the 49ers Director of Pro Personnel, garnered interest from the New York Giants for their general manager job in the offseason, has spent the last five seasons with the 49ers organization.
Jeremiah notes that the continuity with the scheme, both offensively and defensively, as well as within the personnel department makes it easier to have a successful draft.
"I think when you have continuity with the personnel department which [the 49ers] had the last couple years, when you have continuity with the offensive and defensive schemes which they've had, it's a lot easier to hit on these picks because you know exactly what plays for you and you know what you're looking for, and you're not constantly having to churn through different schemes and different philosophies and you lose some guys and they don't fit. Like they know exactly who they are, and that makes the process a whole lot easier."
It's clear that the rest of the league is taking notice, as the Washington Commanders hired former 49er executive Martin Mayhew as their general manager two seasons ago, while the Jacksonville Jaguars recently hired longtime 49ers executive Ethan Waugh as their assistant general manager, which is expected to formalize following the draft.
Earlier this offseason, speculation arose that, with Peters potentially on the rise as an executive in the NFL, the 49ers would need to promote him to keep him with the organization, presumably to general manager, while promoting John Lynch to team president.
While there wasn't a necessity for the move this offseason, as Peters ultimately lost the Giants general manager position to former Buffalo Bills executive Joe Schoen, the possibility could certainly come up next offseason.
