San Francisco 49ers cornerback Emmanuel Moseley is being joined by two of his teammates on the reserve/COVID-19 list. The Niners announced today that they are placing safety Jaquiski Tartt and wide receiver Jauan Jennings on the list, which means neither will be present for the first training camp practice.
49ers players underwent their first COVID-19 tests yesterday morning, upon reporting to the team's facilities.
According to head coach Kyle Shanahan, Tartt was already dealing with a toe injury and was a candidate to land on the active/physical-unable-to-perform (PUP) list. However, the team didn't announce the move.
San Francisco made Jennings a seventh-round draft pick last year. He spent his rookie campaign on the practice squad.
Vaccinated players will need to be asymptomatic and return two negative tests 24 hours apart before rejoining their teammates. Unvaccinated players will be forced to quarantine for a minimum of 10 days.
