The San Francisco 49ers fanbase is decidedly split on the prospect of mortgaging an insurmountable amount of draft capital for the prospect of adding Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson. Pro Football Focus laid out a hypothetical but realistic trade scenario for the quarterback that involved San Francisco shipping off its first-round picks in each of the next three drafts, this year's second-round pick, and Jimmy Garoppolo.
As of this post, the results of our poll on the subject are nearly evenly split, with half willing to do that and the other half unwilling to give up that much.
.@PFF laid out a hypothetical trade for Deshaun Watson that had the #49ers sending their 2021 1st, 2022 1st, 2023 1st, 2021 2nd, and Jimmy Garoppolo to the Texans for the QB.
Yay or nay?

Everyone is voicing his or her opinion on the situation in Houston and taking advantage of the hot topic. That includes Nick Wright of FS1, who feels a pairing between Watson and 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan would be dangerous for opposing offenses (h/t to Patrick Tulini for the find)
"The one [trade] that should terrify the NFL — San Francisco," Wright said on First Things First. "Deshaun Watson in Kyle Shanahan's offense ... to me, that's 14-2. You get (George) Kittle back, you get the defensive players back, Deshaun Watson in that offense, to me, that would be worth whatever San Francisco would have to pay for it."
3 teams that should try to trade for Deshaun Watson, according to @getnickwright:

Wright also adds that the New York Jets and Washington would make ideal trade partners, should things degrade enough in Houston for the Texans to consider moving on from one of the game's most exciting players.
