Seahawks at 49ers, Week 17 predictions: Most see San Francisco ending season with a loss
The San Francisco 49ers are set to host the Seattle Seahawks at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on Sunday, January 3 at 1:25 p.m. PT. Each week, the
49ers Webzone staff predicts the winner within its annual
NFL Pick 'em contest. That includes writers and
forum moderators.
One of six participating staff members this week selected the 49ers to beat the Seahawks. San Francisco is currently a 6.5-point underdog.
As for all the fans who are taking part in our NFL Pick 'em contest,

Seahawks winning the game, as of this post.
Of all the Week 17 game predictions, the most lopsided result comes from Sunday's matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals. Voting has 97 percent of fans believing the Ravens will earn the victory.
The closest matchup, when it comes to the predictions, is between the Arizona Cardinals and the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, with 59 percent selecting the Cardinals to win the game.

Of all the Wild-card game predictions, the most lopsided result comes from Sunday's matchup between the Chicago Bears and the New Orleans Saints. Voting has 95 percent of fans believing the Saints will earn the victory.
The closest matchup, when it comes to the predictions, is between the Baltimore Ravens and the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, with 58 percent selecting the Ravens to win the game.

Of all the upcoming game predictions, the most lopsided result comes from Saturday's matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and the Green Bay Packers. Voting has 97 percent of fans believing the Packers will earn the victory.
When it comes to the predictions, the closest matchup is between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, with 53 percent selecting the Saints to win the game.

John Lynch doesn't see a need to restructure Jimmy Garoppolo's contract right now

The San Francisco 49ers are moving forward with the assumption that this year's salary cap will be set at $175 million. It will probably be a bit higher, but general manager John Lynch would rather start with the floor.
"Anything that we get (above $175 million), I think, is going to be a bonus and gravy, and will help us," John Lynch told Tim Kawakami of The Athletic on The TK Show podcast. "But if it's 175, we'll make it work, and I think we can keep a lot of these players together. You can't keep everyone, but I think we can prioritize. We'll have a very good plan, and I feel really good about our team, moving forward."
