San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan spoke to reporters via Zoom from AT&T Stadium following his team's latest loss — this time to the Dallas Cowboys. The defeat will almost certainly eliminate his squad from playoff contention. That could become official later this afternoon if the Arizona Cardinals beat the Philadelphia Eagles.
Most assumed that any decision on a potential return for tight end George Kittle and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo would hinge on the 49ers' playoff chances.
