49ers-Packers Injury Report: Deebo Samuel, Tevin Coleman don’t practice, won’t play Thursday

The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 9 contest against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and tight end George Kittle are headed to injured reserve. They are out indefinitely. Head coach Kyle Shanahan ruled out a handful of players for Thursday night's game. They are running back Tevin Coleman, wide receiver Deebo Samuel, and linebacker Demetrius Flanningan-Fowles.

Below are Tuesday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Packers, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.

Kyle Shanahan spoke with the media following Monday's practice, which was the fifth day of installation out of a planned seven day schedule. During the session, he was asked about the health of Jalen Hurd and his involvement with team practices, as Hurd has yet to play in an NFL game after being drafted in the third round of the 2019 Draft.
