Sep 27, 2020 at 12:15 PM--

San Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk scored his first NFL touchdown on Sunday. It came against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium.

The touchdown came on a 19-yard run in the third quarter and gave the Niners a 23-9 lead.

Aiyuk has three receptions for 39 yards on four targets from quarterback Nick Mullens. The receiver has also carried the football three times for 31 yards and the score.

The 49ers made Aiyuk the second of their two first-round draft picks in April. The rookie missed Week 1 as he continued to recover from a hamstring injury and got his first in-game action last weekend against the New York Jets.

49ers rookie Javon Kinlaw explains how Arik Armstead has influenced his development

By David Bonilla

First, it's important to note that San Francisco 49ers rookie defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw doesn't typically provide lengthy answers to questions. It's just not his style. However, he did have a longer-than-usual response on Thursday when asked to identify a teammate who has been most helpful during his transition from the college game to the pros. That player is sixth-year defensive lineman Arik Armstead, who has taken on a mentorship role with the first-year defender. "I've been leaning on Arik a lot," Kinlaw said. "Just love getting some feedback from him. Just love watching film with him, and I've been watching film with him. And him just giving me little keys and little things to help me out, to help my game out a lot. So, I have definitely been leaning on

Nick Bosa won't play again this season, but the San Francisco 49ers expect the talented young pass rusher to be terrorizing opposing quarterbacks next year. Bosa, along with another former first-round pick, Solomon Thomas, suffered a season-ending torn ACL during a Week 2 victory over the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium. Bosa is attacking his rehab after what head coach Kyle Shanahan said was a successful surgery to repair the damage in his knee. MOTUS Specialists Physical Therapy in Orange County posted the following video of Bosa on the glute-hamstring machine, noting that they are "respecting post-op precautions" while challenging the

49ers vs Dolphins: Keys to Victory and Score Prediction

By Matt Andruscavage
Oct 10, 2020

Last week's loss to Philly was a tough one to watch, but it's a new week. Jimmy Garoppolo is back. Dre Greenlaw is full-go. There appears to be a good chance Raheem Mostert and Ahkello Witherspoon are back. Deebo Samuel likely passed his final test for his non-Covid illness and should suit up Sunday. This week there are two big hurdles to overcome. The offensive line had a bad day against the Eagles and needs to rebound. The defense is thin, like really thin, at corner (Richard Sherman, Emmanuel Moseley, K'Waun Williams and Dontae Johnson are out). At 2-2 and facing the Miami Dolphins, this is a game San Francisco must win in order to get back on track. If all goes well on the
