By David Bonilla

Kudos to San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings for staying with the football and hauling in a tipped pass against the New Orleans Saints. Safety Tyrann Mathieu got his hands on the Jimmy Garoppolo-thrown pass in the end zone, trying to break up the play, but the 49ers' third-year wideout kept his eyes on the ball and came down with it in the end zone. The impressive catch gave the 49ers a 10-0 lead heading into halftime at Levi's Stadium. San Francisco seeks to earn its fourth consecutive win and improve to 7-4 on the season. Jennings had five catches for 43 yards and the score on six targets in the first half. You can watch Jennings' touchdown catch

49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings has had a quieter year statistically than some may have expected, considering where he was at the end of the 2021 season. But just as he did in 2021, Jennings stepped up in the clutch Sunday, giving the 49ers multiple huge plays while helping them secure a 13-0 win over the New Orleans Saints. After catching 16 passes for 212 yards and three touchdowns over the final five games of the 2021 regular season, Jennings entered this weekend with 30 catches for 220 yards and zero touchdowns for 2022. But on Sunday he caught six passes for 49 yards while hauling in the game's only touchdown. Jennings also made a key third down catch on the game's final drive that helped run out the clock and seal the win. Jennings' clutch performance on

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings was the team's leading pass-catcher on Sunday, hauling in six passes for 49 yards and a touchdown, his second-most productive total of the season. Jennings, who has been relatively quiet this season after a strong finish to his 2021 campaign, put together an emphatic performance where he was once again a reliable option at the sticks, converting five first downs on his six receptions. On the year, 17 of Jennings's 24 receptions have gone for first downs, despite the 2020 seventh-round pick averaging just 5.7 yards per reception. However, the 49ers wideout has struggled with drops this season, averaging a drop rate of over 20% through the first seven weeks of the season. Since then, despite
