Check out these videos from 49ers’ Camp Jimmy in Tennessee

Jun 17, 2020 at 3:56 PM--

It was only a matter of time before videos emerged from the player-organized practices in Tennessee. Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo moved the throwing sessions from San Jose State to the Brentwood Academy, just outside Nashville, this week, and several San Francisco 49ers teammates joined him there.

It would seem that quarterbacks C.J. Beathard, Nick Mullens, and rookie Broc Rutter are there, from the looks of the video below posted on Twitter by Alex Tran.

Then there is this video of Garoppolo hitting wide receiver Kendrick Bourne deep.

Here is another of Bourne.

Here is one of wide receiver Dante Pettis and tight end George Kittle showing off some versatility by playing defense. It was an easy win by Bourne.

Bourne is expecting big things during the upcoming season with Garoppolo throwing the football his way.

In addition to those players, we know others, like fullback Kyle Juszczyk and wide receiver Deebo Samuel also made the trip to Tennessee.

Players are organizing their own workouts together since they are still prohibited from entering team facilities or meeting face-to-face with coaches due to the COVID-19 pandemic. NFL players won't have an opportunity to take part in team-organized practices until training camp next month, at the earliest.

Jeremiah suggests 49ers replace Jimmy Garoppolo with this quarterback

By David Bonilla
Oct 13, 2020

Analysts Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks recorded their latest Move the Sticks podcast with Rhett Lewis and discussed the San Francisco 49ers' conundrum. Things seem to be falling apart for Kyle Shanahan's squad, which lost 43-17 to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, fell to 2-3 in the standings, and sits alone at the bottom of the NFC West. Jeremiah took it upon himself to suggest ways to fix the 49ers' problems, focusing on the quarterback position. Jimmy Garoppolo, who returned after missing two games due to a high-ankle sprain, underwhelmed against the Dolphins. He completed just seven of his 17 attempts for 77 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions. That was good enough for a 15.7 passer rating. Lewis envisions the 49ers resting Garoppolo until

Oct 14, 2020

Until Jimmy Garoppolo gets healthy, turns things around, and starts proving his doubters wrong, there will be a lot of talk surrounding the San Francisco 49ers quarterback position. Yes, Garoppolo played hurt on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, but he already entered the season surrounded by much criticism. Is Garoppolo the guy in San Francisco? Is he the long-term solution for Kyle Shanahan? At this point, those questions seem fair. This season will reveal a lot. The hosts over at Good Morning Football discussed Garoppolo and potential replacements for the quarterback, should Shanahan and the 49ers choose to go in another direction. Simply parting ways with Garoppolo after the season, by the way, can be done with little salary-cap
