49ers DE Nick Bosa 'starting to get the hang' of how to get high sack numbers

By Kirk Larrabee

Nick Bosa notched his ninth and tenth sacks of the 2021 season on Sunday, and if what he said after the game is any indication, there could be a lot more to come. Bosa collected those two sacks in the 49ers' 30-10 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, which was the seventh game this season where he's had at least one sack. Usually, when things work, you come back to them. We had a couple different things with it and some play-actions I think we got in the third quarter -- I think one off of it." Samuel finished the game with eight carries for 79

While the game seemed out of reach for much of the fourth quarter, head coach Kyle Shanahan elected not to put his rookie into the game to gain some of that "game-time" experience that Shanahan alluded to last week. Lance trotted out for the first time in over a month during the 49ers last offensive series, in which he handed the ball off twice, rushed once, and kneeled twice to end the game.
