Richard Sherman is the latest player to be mic'd up during a game. The San Francisco 49ers had ears on the veteran cornerback during the team's 31-3 victory over the Cleveland Browns at Levi's Stadium on Monday night.
49ers Studios, the team's in-house production studio, posted the video above featuring the 31-year-old cornerback. It shows Sherman interacting with his children before kickoff, motivating teammates, and defending against Browns receivers. It also includes Sherman's interception of Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield.
Another cool aspect of the video is that it shows Sherman, a nine-year veteran, offering up advice and praises to cornerback Emmanuel Moseley, a second-year player who started his first game on Monday night in place of the injured Ahkello Witherspoon.
The 49ers signed Sherman, a four-time Pro Bowl selection and three-time first-team All-Pro, in March of 2018. He has registered 15 combined tackles, six passes defensed, two interceptions, and a touchdown through four starts with San Francisco this season.
