"Legendary" San Francisco 49ers linebacker Kwon Alexander joined 95.7 The Game on Wednesday and discussed several topics. His team is 3-0 and headed into a big matchup against the Cleveland Browns on Monday night.
Below are a few of the topics Alexander discussed with Damon Bruce, Ray Ratto, and Matt Kolsky.
Which Browns team do you expect to face? The team that went 0-2 at home or the one that beat Baltimore 40-25?
Kwon Alexander: "I don't really know what kind of team [will] come in, but I know we're going to be ready for whatever situation we've got to be ready for."
Do you feel as healthy as you were before your ACL injury?
KA: "I feel way better than I did before the injury. I'm playing way more faster, way more confident in my game than anything. I feel way better."
Did it feel good to get that first hit out of the way and test the knee?
KA: "I don't really worry about my knee. I just go and play, man. Whatever happens, happens. I don't like to think about things like that. I just like to go play the game that I love; just go out there and do it as hard as I can."
What have you learned from teammate Richard Sherman?
KA: "It's amazing to be around a veteran like Sherm, man. I talk to him about everything, especially just playing next to him, playing outside. He be next to me at corner so me and him, we've got a connection. I'm glad that I've got a corner that knows the game and can help me out in different ways and different formations, and things like that. It's great to have him on my team."
KA (later): "When you've got guys that want to win and know football -- he's been on a championship team, a great team, great defenses -- so knowing me, I'm going to ask (questions). I'm going to figure out what he knows and how I can get better at things. He's been helping me a lot with that. He's just an intelligent guy. He's a great leader for our team, and I appreciate everything he's done for me since I've been here."
What do you think of Nick Bosa through three games?
KA: "He's an animal, too. You all really been seeing a little bit. You all haven't seen a lot. He's going to get to the quarterback a lot more. He's going to get a lot more of those sacks. He's a dog, man."
