The San Francisco 49ers worked out 28-year-old free-agent cornerback Kayvon Webster today, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

The Denver Broncos made Webster a third-round selection out of South Florida in 2013. He has recorded 122 combined tackles, 21 passes defensed, two interceptions, and a forced fumble through his six NFL seasons.

Webster spent his first four NFL seasons with the Broncos before spending 2017 with the Los Angeles Rams and 2018 with the Houston Texans. He has 15 career starts with 11 of those coming in 2017 with Los Angeles when he registered a career-high 38 combined tackles, seven passes defensed, and an interception.

Webster's 2017 season came to an end after he suffered a ruptured Achilles during Week 14 and landed on injured reserve on December 11, 2017. After failing a physical, the Rams released Webster on April 6, 2018, and he signed a one-year deal with Houston on August 27, 2018.

The Texans initially placed Webster on injured reserve on October 9, 2018, after he sustained a quadriceps injury. He was activated off of injured reserve on December 22, 2018, but landed back on the list two days later after re-injuring his thigh.

Webster also landed on injured reserve with the Broncos back on December 28, 2016, after suffering a concussion. He was part of Denver's Super Bowl 50 championship team.
