A contingent of San Francisco 49ers players took in a San Jose Sharks hockey game on Tuesday night. The Sharks beat the Nashville Predators by a score of 5-4.

The 49ers players who ventured out to the SAP Center — or The Shark Tank — included tight end George Kittle and quarterbacks Nick Mullens and C.J. Beathard. Each had a custom jersey with their own team number on it.

The 49ers are enjoying their bye week and have some time off before returning to their regular practice schedule next week.

The group was caught during the broadcast ... well, Kittle was one who stood out the most and the Sharks' NBC Sports Twitter account made sure to have a little fun with the tight end.

Of course, Kittle had to respond.
