Quarterback Nick Mullens led the San Francisco 49ers (2-7) to their 34-3 Thursday night victory over the Oakland Raiders last week. It was the team's second win of the season and Mullens' NFL debut.

As of this post, no official word has been made by the team on whether or not Mullens will make his second career start next Monday night against the New York Giants (1-7), but it would be a shock if he didn't after the impressive primetime performance he put on display against Oakland.

The Giants are coming off of their bye week. They last played on October 28, which resulted in a 20-13 loss to the Washington Redskins.

Quarterback Eli Manning will remain the starter for the Giants. He is 6-3 all-time against San Francisco.

If the season ended today, the 49ers would own the No. 3 overall pick in next year's draft while the Giants would be slotted one spot ahead of them. The Raiders would have the top overall pick.

The 49ers opened the week as three-point favorites over the visiting Giants, according to various casinos and betting sites. Those numbers could change as the game draws near. The over/under for Monday's game is listed at 43.5 points.

San Francisco has won two of the last three matchups against New York. The previous meeting took place last year at Levi's Stadium on November 12, 2017, and was the 49ers' first victory of last season. San Francisco won the game 31-21.

The 49ers and Giants kick off at 5:15 p.m. PT on Monday. For San Francisco, it will be the last game before the bye week. Tickets to the game can still be found here.
