Jauan Jennings: 49ers offense is "shaking and baking"
By David Bonilla

Usually, the San Francisco 49ers defense gets all the notoriety. However, with the Niners scoring 30 points per game, the offense is showing that it can be just as formidable.
Jauan Jennings has four receptions for 82 yards, which ranks fourth on the team behind Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, and George Kittle. Jennings' 20.5 yards per reception lead the 49ers, and his 5.0 yards after the catch rank second among the team's wide receivers (Samuel, 7.9).
Jennings was recently asked to share how much fun the offense has been having this season while possibly stealing some of the spotlight from the team's tough defense.
"Now we out here shaking and baking, man," Jennings said via NBC Sports Bay Area. "That's what we do. We get in the end zone. I feel like

Wide receivers Deebo Samuel and Jauan Jennings have been ailing. Neither has practiced this week. Samuel is dealing with rib and knee injuries, while Jennings is working through a shin injury.
Both receivers participated in the 49ers' walk-through on Thursday but exited as their teammates started preparing for practice. Samuel left for the weight room and wasn't seen again by reporters. Jennings was seen getting some work on a side field.

Neither has practiced this week, and the team has just one more practice before this weekend's matchup at Levi's Stadium.
Samuel is dealing with rib and knee injuries sustained against the New York Giants last week. Jennings is working through a shin injury.
Missing both receivers would be a significant loss for the 49ers offense, a unit that has helped the team score 30 points in each of their three games this season. San Francisco's second-year quarterback is

49ers Notebook: Deebo is no longer "awful"; Ronnie Bell makes a splash; J.J. Watt praises Niners; Captain Andrew Luck makes Levi's cameo

Thursday night was a fun one at Levi's Stadium, where the San Francisco 49ers cruised to a 30-12 victory over the visiting New York Giants. It was a night that saw wide receiver Deebo Samuel declare himself as officially out of "awful" mode, running back Christian McCaffrey reach milestones, wide receiver Ronnie Bell create some lasting memories, and -- of all things -- Andrew Luck making a return to an NFL field (in full Civil War costume) to take part in a game of trivia.
Let's recap all that and more in this version of 49ers Notebook.
Not awful anymore
