The Houston Texans (1-0) will host the San Francisco 49ers (1-0) at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas on Saturday, August 18 at 5:00 p.m. PT (7:00 p.m. CT). The game will be broadcast live on KPIX 5 in the Bay Area, KTRK 13 in the Houston area, and their affiliates. Those who do not have access to the affiliates listed below can watch online via NFL Game Pass, which requires a subscription.

According to general manager John Lynch, San Francisco 49ers cornerback Charvarius Ward wasn't the sole player to undergo core muscle surgery this offseason. Lynch disclosed to reporters at the NFL owners meetings on Monday that All-Pro tight end George Kittle also had the procedure. Charvarius Ward willing to help 49ers land Tre'Davious White

The San Francisco 49ers likely aren't finished fortifying their defense and have reportedly expressed interest in bolstering their defensive backfield. If they require assistance making a significant move, one 49ers player is prepared to lend a helping hand. Last week, the Buffalo Bills released All-Pro cornerback Tre'Davious White, who appears to be an ideal fit for San Francisco's needs opposite Charvarius Ward.
