The San Francisco 49ers' odds of winning Super Bowl 53 are still hovering around 20-1, depending on where you look. Betters appear to be taking advantage of those odds. According to Wiliam Hill Race & Sports Book, which has multiple locations in Nevada, no team has had more money bet on it to win the Super Bowl than the 49ers.

The 49ers being an overwhelming favorite in betting numbers makes some sense. While not all bets come from in-state residents, the 49ers are positioned relatively close to Nevada compared to most other NFL franchises with portions of the state often included within the extended local broadcast areas for the team's games. However, the Oakland Raiders are just as close and will relocate to Las Vegas once their nearly $2 billion stadium near the Las Vegas Strip is complete.

As stated within the tweet, Wiliam Hill books in New Jersey are seeing more money bet on the New York Giants to win the Super Bowl than any other NFL team, which would indicate that team proximity plays a big part in the statistic.

Despite the 49ers and Raiders finishing with matching 6-10 records, the former have better Super Bowl odds heading into the 2018 season than the latter.

Regardless of the reasoning for the betting numbers, there is a lot of excitement surrounding the 49ers this season, which is evident in the five prime-time games given to the team by NFL schedule makers. Much of that excitement is due to how the 49ers finished last season. After a dreadful 0-9 start, the team won six of its last seven games including a five-game win streak to end the season.

The over/under for 49ers wins in 2018 is 8.5 games, according to the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook.

Brock Purdy, 49ers embrace "win the day" attitude amid Super Bowl mindset

By Rohan Chakravarthi

The San Francisco 49ers fell just short of their Super Bowl aspirations yet again in 2022, losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship Game after quarterback Brock Purdy suffered a torn UCL early in the first quarter. Now fully healthy, Purdy is prepared for another potential Super Bowl run with a strong core around him, with the 49ers as motivated as ever, taking the process day by day. "We have such a special group of guys, so much experience, the veterans on this team, and how everyone's professional in what they do," Purdy recently told Jennifer Lee Chan of NBC Sports Bay Area. "There's not a lot of selfishness or anything, ego, none of that. And so we all have the same mindset: to win a Super Bowl and do everything we can to be our best every

By David Bonilla

The undefeated Miami Dolphins' 70-20 win over the winless Denver Broncos has shot them to the top of multiple power rankings. However, for most, the San Francisco 49ers sit in the top spot. Also undefeated and sitting atop the NFC West standings, the 49ers are coming off a 30-12 win over the New York Giants. The team is so well-rounded, and Brock Purdy continues to rack up the wins as the starting quarterback. San Francisco has started the regular season 3-0 for the ninth time in franchise history and has now won 13 consecutive regular-season games dating back to Week 8 of last season. It's the longest active streak in the NFL and the second-longest winning streak in franchise
