San Francisco 49ers WR Torrey Smith appeared on Thursday's injury report and was limited during practice with a back injury. Following some frustrating performances this season with Blaine Gabbert as the team's quarterback, Smith contributed 76 yards and a touchdown with Colin Kaepernick in there during Sunday's loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Our own Al Sacco pointed out today that Smith was targeted seven times on Sunday and hauled in three of those passes. During Weeks 3 through 5, Smith Ward targeted just seven times total.


The 49ers will likely be without RB Carlos Hyde against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. He has not practiced this week due to a shoulder injury.

CB Rashard Robinson returned to practice today, but was limited. He suffered a concussion against the Bills and is in the league mandated concussion protocol. He practiced in a blue no-contact jersey.
