Add San Francisco 49ers ILB NaVorro Bowman to the list of players that are not happy with NFL Network's Top 100 Players list. Last month, it was revealed that Bowman had ranked number 61 on the 2016 version of the annual list, now in its sixth season.

The list is supposedly voted on by players within the league. However, Bowman stated on Wednesday that the list was "totally bogus" and that he has never seen a players ballot or teammate vote for the list. So ... who exactly votes for this thing? It's doubtful we'll get a definitive answer from the NFL.


Perhaps next year he will rank higher within the ranking. Bowman said that he feels great heading into his second season since returning from a devastating knee injury. He stated that his surgically repaired knee feels great, a vast improvement from last season when it was still giving him issues.

Bowman, who played at a high level during his first season back after recovering from a torn ACL and MCL, started all 16 games during his 2015 season with the 49ers. It was his first season without ILB Patrick Willis by his side. During those games, he had 154 tackles, 2.5 sacks, two passes defended and a forced fumble.

The 154 combined tackles were the most of his career and ranked first in the league in 2015. The next closest was LB D'Qwell Jackson of the Indianapolis Colts with 150 combined tackles.
