The Eagles get pick number two and a 2017 fourth-round selection. The Browns acquire the Eagles' number 8, number 77 (third round), and number 100 (fourth round) selections in this year's draft, along with next year's first-round pick and a second-round pick in 2018.

The move puts the Eagles in good position to select a quarterback of the future. Cal QB Jared Goff and North Dakota State QB Carson Wentz are expected to be the first quarterbacks selected.
It was reported earlier this week that the Browns were looking to trade down and were said to be calling all the teams, presumably including the San Francisco 49ers, with top 10 selections in the first round. A trade to number two would have assured the 49ers one of the top two quarterbacks in the draft, but now, those options are certainly gone.
