"At the least, trade talks right now are quiet, they've hit pause, and they're on a little bit of a hiatus. Not dead yet," said Rapoport.
Rapoport went on to bring everyone up to date, describing how Kaepernick is unwilling to take a pay cut and the 49ers are currently unwilling to pay a portion of his salary. He states that trade talks likely won't be dead until the Denver Broncos acquire someone that they would consider their starter or to compete with Mark Sanchez.
