The photo would support Barrows' report from tonight stating that Kaepernick is expected to report to the 49ers tomorrow as the team begins their offseason program.
There had been some debate whether or not Kaepernick would show for the team's offseason program. After all, the Denver Broncos are still attempting to acquire the quarterback via a trade. The only thing holding up a deal, per Adam Schefter of ESPN, is $4.9 million of salary for this season, which Kaepernick and the Broncos would like the 49ers to pay.
Talks had stalled since March 10, but heated back up on Thursday when Broncos general manager John Elway met with Kaepernick, reportedly for at least the second time, at his home in the Denver area. The meeting was likely arranged as a feeling-out process and to discuss contractual issues.
Kaepernick has been in Colorado recovering from multiple surgeries at the Steadman Clinic in Vail.
