While the Denver Broncos offense was ineffective for most of the game, their defense was phenomenal. The Broncos jumped to and early 10-0 lead and never trailed in the game as Denver won Super Bowl 50 over the Carolina Panthers by the score of 24-10 on Sunday.

The Broncos offense would not score until nearly three minutes remaining in the game. Linebacker Von Miller won the MVP award.

The Super Bowl was held on the home field of the San Francisco 49ers. Located in Santa Clara, California, the stadium officially opened in July of 2014.

Carolina had more passing yards, rushing yards, and total yards in the game, but they also had four turnovers compared to Denver's two.

The game was likely the last for quarterback Peyton Manning, who will ride off into the sunset winning his second championship in four Super Bowl visits. He was only 13 of 23 for 141 yards and an interception.

Former 49ers tight end Vernon Davis, who was traded to Denver during the regular season, is a Super Bowl champion and did it at his former home field.

Carolina was favored by 4.5 points.
