Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that the San Francisco 49ers have signed CFL standout WR Eric Rogers.

Rogers, who is listed at 6-3 and 210 lbs, visited 16 teams, including the New England Patriots, New York Jets, New York Giants, San Diego Chargers, and Philadelphia Eagles, before choosing to sign with the 49ers. Schefter reports that he had 13 offers. Last year, he caught 87 passes for 1,448 yards and 10 touchdowns with the Calgary Stampeders.

Rogers will get a two-year deal with $450,000 and $540,000 base salaries, $125,000 signing bonus, $75,000 in bonuses, and a $100,000 base salary guarantee.

(h/t to 49ers news guru Patrick Tulini for the contract numbers)

The Stampeders let Rogers out of his contract early so he could sign with San Francisco.
