Bush had what was described as a left calf injury during the first quarter of the 49ers' game against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night. After struggling to get off the field, he was eventually carted to the team's locker room and did not return.
Jarryd Hayne replaced Bush as Carlos Hyde's primary backup. Bush's departure left the 49ers with only two running backs in uniform.
It didn't seem to matter as Hyde went on to rush for 168 yards, two touchdowns, and 182 all-purpose yards.
