The first was from earlier today by ESPN's Jim Trotter and was posted about an hour after Darnell Dockett's release.
The second came later in the day and was by 49ers WR Torrey Smith.
The third was by former NFL scout and contributor to CSN Bay Area, John Middlekauff.
What does it mean? No one seems to know. How does Smith's comment fit into it -- if at all. Was Smith posting about something personal or team related? He followed his tweet with two more posts about interviewing for jobs out of college ... so ... maybe not. Are Trotter and Middlekauff referring to the team's crazy offseason or some developing story? Are the players upset about the recent release of a player? Is a surprise roster move in the works? Is there some negativity in the locker room? Are Jed York and Jim Harbaugh now best buds? What?!!!
There were some somewhat surprising cuts today, but nothing totally shocking or signaling self-destruction. That makes the tweets even more bizarre.
It may be nothing. Hopefully it is nothing. We shall see.
Update:
Whew. We do now. Um ... Torrey ... any idea what Trotter is talking about?
