Making what should be his last start of the preseason, LB NaVorro Bowman looked primed and ready for the regular season. He had seven tackles, two assists and two sacks in the game.
It was a field goal battle for much of the game until the Broncos took the lead in the fourth quarter with a touchdown and two point conversion.
The 49ers offense struggled with only 92 net passing yards. The running game managed 145 net rushing yards, but 53 of those were from QB Colin Kaepernick. RB Reggie Bush made his 49ers debut and gained 21 yards in his only run of the night.
Here are the recaps from numerous 49ers beat writers. More will be added to the list as they come in.
