According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, former San Francisco 49ers cornerback Chris Culliver will be visiting with the Washington Redskins.

Culliver was drafted out of South Carolina by the 49ers in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft. During his career with the team, he had 127 tackles and seven interceptions.

He has had a number of off-the-field issues which many felt would impact the interest in him.

Former 49ers cornerback Perrish Cox also visited with Washington. He is scheduled to visit with the Cleveland Browns and Tennessee Titans as well. Culliver and Cox were the starting corners for San Francisco in 2014.

The cornerback position has become a big concern for the 49ers, who will need to address it soon. With few starting quality corners left on the market, they may look at bringing Culliver or Cox back or be forced to wait until the NFL Draft to address the position.
