CB Shawntae Spencer (right ankle) did not practice Thursday and it does not appear as if he will be available for Sunday's game against the Saints. He is listed as questionable for this week's game. Donald Strickland would start again in his place if Spencer is unable to play.
RB Frank Gore (right leg contusions) returned to practice and was upgraded to probable for Sunday's game. Gore has bruises just above the ankle and below the knee.
LT Jonas Jennings (left ankle) did not practice Thursday but is expected to return to practice Friday. He is listed as questionable but the club expects him to play Sunday against the Saints. Jennings sustained the injury Nov. 19 against the Seahawks but was able to play last week against the Rams.
LB Jeff Ulbrich (right thumb) practiced and is expected to play Sunday after undergoing surgery Monday to repair a tendon. Ulbrich is listed as probable.
