It was announced on Saturday that, barring a late setback, Titans starting quarterback Jake Locker would be back in the lineup after missing the past three games due to a hip injury suffered in a win over the New York Jets just three weeks ago. It was originally believed Locker would miss four to eight weeks. Titans running back Chris Johnson started the season strong averaging over 85 yards per game during the team's first three games. During the Titans' last three games, he has only rushed for a combined 71 yards.
Last week, the 49ers (4-2) defeated the Arizona Cardinals 32-20. The Titans (3-3) were defeated by the Seattle Seahawks 20-13.
For the 49ers, WR Quinton Patton (foot) is out. WR Jon Baldwin (illness), DT Glenn Dorsey (hamstring), DT Ray McDonald (biceps), CB Carlos Rogers (knee), and DT Justin Smith (shoulder) are listed as questionable. G Alex Boone (shoulder), LB Ahmad Brooks (not injury related), CB Tarell Brown (knee), T Anthony Davis (shoulder), TE Vernon Davis (hamstring), G Mike Iupati(stinger), QB Colin Kaepernick (foot), S Eric Reid (hip, ankle), LB Michael Wilhoite (quadricep, ankle), and LB Patrick Willis (groin) are listed as probable.
For the Titans, LB Moise Fokou (knee) and LB Zaviar Gooden (hamstring) are out. LB Patrick Bailey (hamstring), DE Lavar Edwards (shoulder), RB Shonn Greene (knee), QB Jake Locker (hip, knee), DE Derrick Morgan (shoulder), and C Robert Turner (shoulder) are listed as questionable. RB Jackie Battle (neck), DT Sammie Lee Hill (ankle), S Bernard Pollard(ankle), T David Stewart (ankle), and CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson (hamstring) are listed as probable.
