It is being reported that the Saints are asking for the 49ers' No. 6 pick, their No. 22 pick and next season's first-round pick.
With too many needs on the team, the 49ers will likely pull themselves out of the bidding if this is what they would have to give up. Rumor has it that the 49ers have offered the No. 6 pick, their 3rd round pick, and their 2nd round pick next year and are unwilling to give up their No. 22 pick or the 1st rounder next year.
This all started last night when the Houston Texans announced that they have agreed to terms with North Carolina State defensive lineman Mario Williams and will draft him instead of Bush.
According to Bush's agent, the Saints have already said that they will select Bush with the second pick in the draft.
ESPNews has also reported that the 49ers are calling around in an attempt to move up, guaranteeing themselves to be in position to draft Ohio State linebacker A.J. Hawk or Maryland tight end Vernon Davis should a deal with the Saints fall through.
