View the article: NFL Star Patrick Willis Joins UFC
The staff of 49erswebzone.com would like to once again thank you for making April Fools Day enjoyable and for helping to spread the article around. It was even mentioned on NBC Bay Area's website.
Also, we tortured our forum members a bit by messing with their minds. Some saw the viral music video 'Friday' by Rebecca Black automatically inserted into all of their posts. Others, through some additional trickery, thought everyone within the Parking Lot portion of the forum were talking about them when the word "I" was replaced with the viewer's username everywhere. And then there were those that had the word "49ers" replaced with "Cowboys" within our Niner Talk forum.
It was all in good fun and we appreciate everyone putting up with our self-entertainment.
From Patrick Willis' Twitter account:
What r ppl talking about UFC. I never said anything about UFC. I just got on twitter now to read all this lol someone got alot of ppl
