According to DraftKings, the San Francisco 49ers have overtaken the Los Angeles Rams as the betting favorites to win Super Bowl LXI as the NFL heads into Week 6.

The 49ers remain undefeated at 5-0 through five weeks, while the Rams fell to 2-3 after losing to the Buffalo Bills in overtime on Monday night. Los Angeles now sits third in the NFC West behind San Francisco and the Seattle Seahawks, who most recently lost to the 49ers.

Despite significant injury setbacks, San Francisco has kept finding ways to win and maintain its perfect record. The 49ers' next two games are against the Washington Commanders and Atlanta Falcons. San Francisco enters its Monday night home matchup against Washington as a 7.5-point favorite, while Atlanta has won just two games this season.

However, not every sportsbook has installed San Francisco as the outright Super Bowl LXI favorite. Some still list the 49ers and Rams with identical odds, reflecting the belief that Los Angeles can recover from its slow start and reestablish itself as a championship contender.

For now, DraftKings has San Francisco atop its Super Bowl LXI odds board. The 49ers will look to extend their winning streak and stay among the NFL's elite, leaning on key veterans like Fred Warner, Mike Evans, George Kittle, Christian McCaffrey, and Brock Purdy.
