The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 3 contest against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

San Francisco made several roster moves Wednesday, including placing defensive tackle C.J. West on injured reserve with a knee injury. The team also signed defensive lineman Naquan Jones to the active roster and added wide receiver Brandin Cooks and defensive lineman Viliami Fehoko Jr. to the practice squad.

Cooks will wear No. 84 with the 49ers.

The 49ers are managing wide receiver Mike Evans, who suffered a hip injury during Sunday's win over the Miami Dolphins. The setback is not believed to be serious, but Evans was among the players who did not practice Wednesday.

Rookie defensive end Romello Height underwent surgery on the hand he injured against the Dolphins. Head coach Kyle Shanahan was asked whether Height could still suit up Sunday against the Cardinals.

"He's still an option," Shanahan said. "I hear he came out good, so we'll see how he heals up this week. Outside chance he could be available."

Below are Wednesday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Cardinals, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
