Highest marks

Quarterback Brock Purdy was the game's highest-graded player by a significant margin. He earned a 96.6 offensive grade and a 94.2 passing grade. Purdy is the highest-graded NFL player of Week 2 so far.

The next-highest-graded player with more than 10 snaps was tight end George Kittle, who earned a 90.2 offensive grade.

Purdy had a remarkably efficient game, completing 20 of 22 passes for 287 yards and two passing touchdowns. He also ran for a touchdown. Purdy finished with a 149.1 passer rating, increasing his career mark to 104.9. The 49ers quarterback has a 125.6 passer rating through the first two games of the season.

Defensive end Nick Bosa was the game's highest-graded defensive player, earning an 84.5 overall grade.

Blocking

Left tackle Trent Williams earned a 72.8 offensive grade, making him the 49ers' highest-graded offensive lineman. He allowed one pressure and one hit on 26 pass-blocking snaps while earning the team's best run-blocking grade at 75.4.

Left guard Connor Colby earned the game's best pass-blocking grade at 86.3. He did not allow a single pressure on his 27 pass-blocking snaps.

San Francisco's lowest-graded offensive lineman was left tackle Vederian Lowe, who earned a 41.8 offensive grade. However, the sample size was small, as he played just eight snaps. He also earned the lowest run-blocking grade among 49ers offensive linemen at 52.2, while right tackle Colton McKivitz had the group's lowest pass-blocking grade at 48.3.

The team's lowest overall run-blocking grade went to tight end Luke Farrell at 49.7, while the game's lowest pass-blocking grade went to running back Jordan James at 8.0.

In total, the 49ers surrendered four pressures, with four charged to the offensive line.

Quarterback Brock Purdy led the 49ers with 30 rushing yards and a touchdown on three attempts, earning a game-high 83.1 run grade. Rookie Kaelon Black was San Francisco's highest-graded running back, earning a 68.4 run grade on seven attempts for 25 yards.

Running back Christian McCaffrey, who scored two rushing touchdowns, earned a 57.4 run grade while averaging 2.3 yards per carry.

Wide receiver Deebo Samuel had the game's lowest run grade at 57.0.

Pass rush

Cornerback Upton Stout earned a 76.6 pass-rush grade, the highest among 49ers defenders. However, that grade was based on just two pass-rush attempts. Stout was credited with half a sack.

Defensive end Keion White was the highest-graded 49ers pass rusher with a significant number of pass-rush attempts (21). He earned a 74.6 pass-rush grade and was credited with a sack.

The 49ers' lowest pass-rush grade went to defensive end Ogbo Okoronkwo, who earned a 52.9 mark in the category. He did not record a pressure.
