Wide receiver De'Zhaun Stribling and tight end Jake Tonges were ruled out with injuries. Stribling injured his ankle in the first quarter but managed to return to the game. However, his return was short-lived.
Stribling left the game again in the second quarter and needed help getting off the field. He was eventually carted to the locker room and ruled out for the remainder of the game.
"They checked his Achilles," Shanahan said. "They said that was intact, but they're not exactly sure of the magnitude of the ankle injury."
Tonges went down in the second quarter and also needed help getting off the field. He was eventually ruled out with a knee injury.
"It wasn't good," Shanahan admitted. "I mean, it's not an ACL. It's MCL, I believe. But there's some issues with it that we've got to see how it is. There's a little more information to it, but we don't know yet."
Additionally, tackle Trent Williams and running back Christian McCaffrey left the game with cramps but returned.
Williams shared that he experienced cramps during the 49ers' 99-yard drive that ended in their final touchdown of the game.
"I honestly was fighting cramps the whole entire drive, so I didn't even know we went 99," Williams said. "Well, I ain't going to say I didn't know. It didn't dawn on me, because as soon as he scored, I tried to head to the locker room to get an IV."
