York was arrested Sunday in East Palestine, Ohio, and posted a $5,000 bond. He pleaded no contest Monday morning to misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and possessing criminal tools.

Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports that, according to court records, York was arrested under Statute 2907.231, with the charge description being "engaging in prostitution." However, Maiocco added that the charge was amended to "disorderly conduct."
An NFL spokesman stated, "We are aware of the matter, which will be reviewed under the personal conduct policy."
The 49ers issued the following statement: "As this is a legal matter, which has been resolved, we will not be providing any further comment at this time."
According to the police report, York was arrested at 9:35 a.m. at the Wheat Hill Mobile Home Community off State Route 170.
York was sentenced to two days in the Columbiana County Jail and ordered to pay $1,150 in fines. According to WKBN27, referencing court orders, his cell phone was returned to him. However, $160 was seized and forfeited to the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force.
The East Palestine police stated that all further information regarding the arrest must come from the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force.
