More than 90 NFL players are expected to attend TEU this year, taking part in film study, on-field drills, and networking opportunities, as well as some off-field fun. This year's event will also mark the first time select workouts and activities at Vanderbilt Stadium are open to the public.
"I finally convinced Brock Purdy to show up, and he lives 10 minutes away from me, so that's a plus," Kittle said during an appearance on the Pardon My Take podcast. "We've got Brock Purdy, we've got Mac Jones, so he's going to be a fun time."
Purdy and Jones won't be the only quarterbacks with 49ers ties in attendance. Several former San Francisco signal-callers are also expected to participate.
"And then, we've got Nick Mullens, C.J. Beathard, and Brandon Allen," Kittle continued. "So, three of the boys—four of the boys, and Brock Purdy, who's also a boy. It'll be a fun time."
Kittle added that Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was invited but won't be able to attend, while Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen remains a possibility.
In addition to the quarterbacks, 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk will be at TEU to help coach players at his position. Many NFL offenses utilize tight ends in fullback-like roles, making his expertise valuable.
Former 49ers tight ends coach Jon Embree will also work with attendees. Embree spent five seasons with San Francisco, coaching the position from 2017 through 2021.
